As a result of these emergency measures taken by Indian governments, the police have suspended certain public services including criminal record inquiries. Local police checks are not currently available and will remain unavailable through September 30, 2020. Until the police resume normal operations, we will be conducting court record checks. This should not cause any significant delays.
Travel is still restricted, but many businesses are being permitted to reopen with restrictions. Universities and schools have not been reopened. There will be delays to components including education and potentially employment checks. We are actively monitoring this work and will provide updates as they become available.
