Truescreen has worked to reduce the cost increases to our clients as much as possible. The following updates are a result of data providers increasing their fees, not Truescreen.
Equifax Workforce Solutions, The Work Number for Everyone
This important Equifax product enjoys strong pricing power as it is unique. Equifax has restructured their pricing model for employment data and significantly increased its fees. Previously, Equifax charged, and Truescreen passed through, a $10.50 access fee per subject when The Work Number was utilized for an employment verification. Effective October 1, 2020, The Work Number will instead charge $23.96 per subject when the database is utilized for an employment verification.
The National Student Clearinghouse
The largest provider of post-secondary education verification has increased their per-transaction base fee from $5.40 to $6.00. This is the first price change issued by The National Student Clearinghouse in five years, and will take effect November 1, 2020.
New Jersey Electronic Access Program to Promis Gavel
This pass-through access fee will be reduced from $5.00 to $3.50 effective October 1, 2020. This is a result of Truescreen's efforts over the past month to streamline the access of this new court system.
