Statement regarding Equifax security issue

We are aware of the recently disclosed security issue reported by Equifax and are monitoring the situation.

Please note that we do not access or use any domestic credit data from Equifax. The only Equifax products we access are limited information in Canada and TheWorkNumber for certain employment history information. The extent of our interaction with Equifax with these products is to submit queries to obtain information from them.

We have been assured by Equifax that there is no evidence these services have been impacted. Regardless, if any consumer is concerned or wants more information, they should be directed to the resources Equifax has established at https://www.equifaxsecurity2017.com.
