As a result of these closures, delays for court searches in these jurisdictions are expected.
The dates/times of these closures are as follows:
Philadelphia, Pa. — All courts will be closed beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 at 5 p.m. and will reopen and resume with normal business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015.
Washington D.C. — The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the local U.S. Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Sept. 24, in anticipation of the pope's visit to the U.S. Capitol
Camden, N.J. — The Camden County Hall of Justice in Camden and the Camden County Probation Division Office in Cherry Hill will be closed on Friday, Sept. 25 because of the anticipated road closures and traffic in connection with the papal visit to Philadelphia. Both buildings are scheduled to reopen and court is expected to resume on Monday, Sept. 28.
