Process Update for UK Checks Using the Disclosure and Barring Service

Please note that there has been a change announced by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), an agency that provides basic disclosure checks.

As of this month, October 2021, the DBS expects employers to be reviewing ID and proof of address documents in person.

COVID-related exceptions are no longer in place.

Please note that this only applies to applicants who will be living and working in England or Wales.
