New Hampshire No Longer Requires Specific Notarized Form to Release MVR Information

Previously, clients were required to complete a specific form - the "Release of Motor Vehicle Records - Form DSMV 505" - which required notarization, prior to our access to New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Records on our clients' behalf.

The New Hampshire DMV has now approved the use of a standard FCRA authorization form for the release of MVR records in that state. This authorization is not filed with the New Hampshire DMV but needs to be retained for a minimum of three (3) years by our clients in the event of an audit.
