Criminal Searches
Criminal record checks in Nigeria have been disrupted as many government employees, including those in the department checking criminal records, were reassigned temporarily to assist with elections.
We are working to complete these checks as quickly as possible.
Education Verifications
Education verifications in Nigeria will be further delayed from February 22 - March 27, 2023. Nigeria's National Universities Commission had directed all Universities to close while Nigeria holds elections. The planned, three-week closure, required all academic activities to be suspended.
While there was no official extension, many Universities announced that they would remain closed through March 21st.
We will attempt to conduct education verifications during this closure, though we expect responses to be delayed while schools work through backlogs of requests.
We will be actively monitoring these services and will provide further updates as available.
