As a result of these emergency measures taken by the Indian government, the police have suspended certain public services including criminal record inquiries. Local police checks are not currently available and will remain unavailable through June 30th. Until the police resume normal operations, we will be conducting court record checks. This should not cause any significant delays.
During the lockdown, travel is restricted and post offices, universities, and most businesses are closed. There will be delays to components including education and employment checks. Address checks will be unavailable during this time and will not resume until at least June 30th. We are actively monitoring this work and will provide updates as they become available.
