Nevada law repeals seven-year criminal conviction reporting restriction

Senate Bill 409, which goes into effect immediately, "removes the prohibition against disclosing a record of conviction of a crime which is more than 7 years old, meaning that there is no limitation of time for which such a record may be disclosed."

Crimes which resulted in a non-conviction are not affected by the bill and are still subject to the seven-year reporting limitation.
