As a result of these emergency measures taken by Indian governments, the police have suspended certain public services including criminal record inquiries. Local police checks are not currently available and will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future. Until the police resume normal operations, we will be conducting court record checks. This should not cause any significant delays.
There are still restrictions concerning travel and banks, post offices, and businesses may still be operating in a limited capacity. Site visits are currently not possible. There may continue to be delays to components including education and employment checks. We are actively monitoring this work and will provide updates as they become available.
