The new Form I-9 was published on July 17, 2017, and can be found on the USCIS website.

In addition to the aforementioned technical changes, the new form contains modified instructions for completing Section 1. Previously, instructions prompted employees to complete Section 1 by "the end of the first day of employment." USCIS has now updated that wording to state that the employee should "complete Section 1 at the time of hire (by the first day of their employment for pay).”
