Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidential Inauguration May Cause Court Delays

Please note that on Monday, January 18, 2021, courts will be observing Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and so there may be a slight delay for verification of records in certain states. Additionally, some courthouses are closing on various days next week as a result of the Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C.

As such, we are anticipating a slight delay for verification of records in the following jurisdictions:

Washington, D.C. - Courts are closed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
State of Delaware - Courts are closed on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and Wednesday, January 20, 2021
Fairfax, VA - Courts are closed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
Alexandria, VA - Courts are closed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
