Some areas remain under strict lockdowns, with each state able to enforce local restrictions.
As a result of these emergency measures taken by Indian governments, the police have suspended certain public services including criminal record inquiries. Local police checks are not currently available and will remain unavailable through March of 2021. Until the police resume normal operations, we will be conducting court record checks. This should not cause any significant delays.
Travel is still restricted, but businesses are being permitted to reopen. In December, universities and schools were able to open with 25-50% of their workforces. There will be delays to components including education and potentially employment checks. We are actively monitoring this work and will provide updates as they become available.
