Arkansas Insurance Department bulletin reminds individual applicants to use full legal name on documentation

The Department has experienced difficulties in verifying information provided by individuals seeking licensure due to the use of a name other than the applicant’s legal name.

Thus, all applicants for licensure in the state must now use their legal name on any documentation submitted to the Department.

If your legal name changes at any time during the period of licensure, the Arkansas Insurance Department requests that individuals provide at least 30 days written notice.
